The Japanese automotive maker, Yamaha has unwrapped 2019 Range which includes some exceptional concepts at Yamaha Press Premiere in Japan. It consisted of a range of motorcycles, adventure tourer, scooters, and many more. These concepts will hit the automotive market next year. These new Yamaha concepts are just mind-blowing. The 2018 EICMA motorcycle event has already commenced in Milan and we will soon get some more interesting two-wheeler concepts, but for now, we will know some interesting features of the Yamaha 2019 range concepts.
The Yamaha YZF-R25 and the new YZF-R3 are the racer concepts of the company. On the other hand, the all-new R15 V3 remains with the company’s traditional designing. The YZF-R25 is developed with VVA technology that is also used by R15 V3. The R3 now gets a track-spec version with some advanced features present on it.
This new concept is exclusively unveiled for celebrating the 20 years of the R1. This is a limited edition variant and the company will produce only 20 units of the bike. Although, this is a feature-packed model in the GYTR range which gets an appealing design in red and white theme.
The track-specs bike has got some racing elements like ECU, CCU, quick throttle, wire harnesses, Ohlins race grade suspensions with steering dampers, Brembo brakes and a racing radiator. The GYTR has also got an Akrapovic exhaust system as well. This bike also offers 2019 Yamaha Racing Experience.
YZF-R3 is another superbike specially developed to run on race tracks. It gets some similar features of R1 including Öhlins Racing suspension and Brembo brakes. It is also revealed with titanium Akrapovič exhaust and an exceptional GYTR engine package. The bike is developed with FIM rules to participate in the 2019 World Supersport 300 championship.
Now, its time for a unique three-wheel concept, 2019 Niken GT. It is a perfect adventure tourer which gets amazing highlights like panniers, larger windshield, longer and comfortable seat, heated grip and many more. The bike has adopted the company’s Multi-wheel leaning technology and will run on the 300cc engine. Moreover, it is equipped with a 3-D printed seat and tilt-lock. The company has not revealed all the details in the press premiere.
As the name suggests, this heritage concept tribute to the 1981 XT500, which is a popular company’s bike. It has some extreme off-roading elements like 10-spoke cast wheels highlighting Pirelli MT60RS rubber tires. The wheels are 120/70 R17 front and 180/505 R17 rear. This machine draws power from a 689cc liquid-cooled parallel twin motor which generates 74 Bhp of power and 67.8 Nm of torque.
The company has used off-road handlebars, block-pattern tyres and a flat seat in this model. It also gets rubber gaiters, fork caps and optional black high-level Akrapovic exhaust. XTribute will be launched in Europe by April, next year.
Yamaha Tenere 700:
Tenere 700 is another adventure tourer in the 2019 Yamaha range. It will draw power from a 689cc parallel twin liquid cooled engine which is expected to make 72 hp power and 68 Nm torque configuration. It sits on 21 inches front wheels with 18-inch rear along with front adjustable 43 mm upside down forks up and 210 mm travel and rear link-type monoshock with 200 mm travel. It is outfitted with a LED headlight and rear taillight highlighting switchable ABS system.
2019 Xmax IRON MAX:
Yamaha also uncovered a special model, XMax known as XMAX IRON MAX emblem. It is announced in different variants including 125cc, 300cc and the 400cc units. It will get an attractive design and amazing body frame finished in exciting shades. It will be equipped with new dual seat options, leather padding and some premium elements as well.
All these bikes will be launched next year. The prices are not announced yet. The company will reveal the detailed features at the 2018 EICMA.
