The leading variant of Yamaha YZF-R15 (V1) came on the market in the year 2008 and the second variant (V2) came in the year 2011. Now, the company is all set to release the brand new, V3 with a fresh design and advanced features.

Yamaha YZF-R15 V3 will be powered by 155cc liquid-cooled engine which is cable of producing 19 bhp peak power at 10,000 rpm and 15 Nm top torque at 8500 rpm. It will be combined with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine will operate on a greater compression ratio (11.6:1) as well as lighter forged aluminum piston. The bike is developed with Variable Valves Actuation (VVA) system which helps in producing torque at moderate rpm. It will also include support and slide clutch for a constant movement beneath severe deceleration.
Now about the braking system of the rand new YZF-R15 V3, it comes with a 282mm disc brake along with a front dual piston caliper as well as back 220 mm disc along with a separate piston caliper.
