Yamaha Aerox 155: As you all know, Yamaha Aerox 155 is the most awaited scooter of India. Many Yamaha enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the launch in the country, but the company has still not revealed the launch for India. The stylish and modern look of the scooter has already gathered many interested buyers. So, it will definitely rock the Indian two-wheeler market, after the official launch. Although it seems that we have to still wait for official announcement.
The latest sporty and fashionable Aerox 155 is already running successfully in global markets like Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines. In India, the awesome scooter was first revealed in January in some spy shots which was reported before the Auto Expo. Since the spy shots, we didn’t get to see any news about the beauty. The scooter is developed with many amazing features and specs. It represents the technological advancements of the company.
Recently, the modern scooter was spotted at a Yamaha showroom in Visakhapatnam, India. From the latest image, we have a glimpse of the latest the Yamaha Aerox 155. It was spotted with a twin optic LED headlamps and LED tail lamps, brake lamps, smart key set-up, smartphone charging case, an all-new instrumentation, and 5.8-inches LCD display. The scooter sits on broader 14-inches tires and 25 liters storage compartment.
The technical specs are not yet revealed for India, but there are the details from the global variant. It is powered by a 155cc Yamaha Blue Core, liquid cooled, single cylinder petrol motor which is capable of generating 14.8 bhp of power @ 8,000 rpm and 14.4 Nm of torque @ 6,000 rpm. It is the first line-up of the company in India which is equipped with a liquid cooled, fuel injected engine.
The scooter comes with ABS and rear drum brake as braking set-up and it also features telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers. The company has produced the scooter in many exciting shades. The mid-specs model is expected to receive a price tag between Rs75,000-80,000. The two-wheeler will lock horns against the popularity of the newly launched Honda Grazia scooter, Aprilia SR150, the expected Suzuki Burgman 155 and Vespa series. The latest model is assumed to be launched in Idia soon.
