Mahindra XUV300 is all set to launch by this month on 14th February and it has already received a great response. Mahindra had opened the bookings on 9th January for Rs 20,000.
After a month Mahindra has received 4,000 booking for the upcoming feature loaded SUV. Based in the SsangYong Tivoli it is built on X 100 platform. The compact SUV segment has been highly competitive and Mahindra is ready to enter it all equipped with the XUV 300.
The design looks very mature with the slim grille up front with chrome inserts and unique LED lamps design. LEDs merge up vertically into the headlamp unit. Interior has a lot of premium features like a sunroof, Dual-zone fully-automatic climate control, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front parking sensors. It rides on 17-inch diamond cut alloys.
Mahindra XUV300 is very well equipped on the safety front. It gets best in class 7 airbags, ABS with EBD, disc brake on all four sides and front parking sensors.
Powering the compact SUV is a 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor which makes 110hp and 200Nm, it will also get a 1.5-litre diesel mill offering 300Nm of torque. Both the engines will come mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. XUV300 will come in three variants – W4, W6, W8 & W8 Opt. There are six colours to choose from – Sunburst Orange, Red rage, Aquamarine, Napoli black, Pearl white, Dsat silver.
To be launched on 14th February Mahindra XUV300 will rival the likes of the segment leader Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Tata Nexon and Ford Ecosport. It will be priced around Rs. 8-12 Lakh (ex-showroom).
