Volkswagen Vento Sport: Recently, the Volkswagen Vento Sport Edition was unveiled. It was unveiled on the official site of the firm but without prices. The amazing sports car can soon be released by March 2018. The company has completely given the Vento Sports Edition a classy and modern look. The VW Vento Sports Edition has received carbon-polish at the exterior back view mirrors (ORVMs), signature Sports symbol at the front fenders, shining black shade roof cover, 16-inch Portago alloy wheels, black foils at the side of the car and bright black spoiler present at the back.
The company has not revealed the cabin layout of the Vento Sports till now, however, the sporty sedan is supposed to be presenting exceptional Highline Plus modification. The price of the car will begin from Rs 11.44 lakh in India. The TSI petrol-automatic variant is available at Rs 12.79 lakh, the diesel-manual variant valued Rs 12.92 lakh and the diesel-automatic from Rs 14.17 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The Volkswagen Vento Highline Plus model is the entirely packed with trim that receives faux leather upholstered seats, leather-covered steering wheel, and gearshift knob, electrically foldable ORVMs, touchscreen infotainment display system along with a rear parking camera and MirrorLink connectivity.
The Volkswagen Vento Sport sedan is built with special safety measures keeping in mind. It will come with twin airbags and ABS as standard and ESP for all the versions. The VW Vento chief version too receives LED headlamps and features DRL LED daytime operation lights. Unchangeably, the Vento Sports Edition will be available with the similar engine compared to previous models. However, the motor of previous Volkswagen model was also powerful which offered smooth rides. It will be packed with a robust 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine which is capable of delivering 103bhp peak power and 174Nm of peak torque that is combined with a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox transmission. It further features a 1.6-litre MPI petrol engine which delivers 103bhp peak power and a 153Nm peak of torque combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox transmission.
The company has also manufacture optional 1.5-litre TDI unit that produces 108bhp power and 250Nm of peak torque combined with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed DSG gearbox. The price of the petrol variant can reach Rs 13 lakh whereas, the diesel variant can touch Rs 14 lakh. The company has announced the latest Vento (Virtus) inspired by the model MQB concept. The company is still producing PQ25 in India which is inspired by Vento. Newly, the German car manufacturer has indeed revealed a limited edition of the Vento, the All-Star. The Vento locks horns with the most popular Maruti Ciaz, Honda City, and the Hyundai Verna. With the Honda City and the Hyundai Verna modifications, Volkswagen is also trying to add some limited versions to the Vento.
