Piaggio has launched the Vespa Notte 125 scooter in India on 25th July. This new 125 cc scooter was first unveiled at the Auto Expo, 2018 [New Delhi]. The exshowroom price of the Vespa Notte 125 is Rs 70,285. The Vespa Notte has got a complete black matte colour scheme as suggested by the name itself. Notte is an Italian word which means night which makes a appropriate name for the black matte painted scooter. Even the wheels are black along with the steel grab rails. Some portions get a chrome finish whereas the rest of the scooter is painted in mid night black shade.

The Vespa Notte 125 is featured with a stylish chrome finished border on the headlamps, black alloys and steel handle bars for the person at the rear seat. Besides that the new 125 cc scooter gets provided with comfortable and well shaped new seats. The scooter is equipped with a modern analogue console, three spoke steel alloy painted in black and monocoque full – steel body construction. The scooter runs on broader tubeless tyres [100-70/11 front and 120-70/10 rear].

The Vespa Notte 125 is mechanically similar to the Vespa LX 125, which is on sale in Indian market. The new 125 cc scooter is powered to same air cooled, three valve, single cylinder 125 cc engine. The engine gets an aluminium cylinder head. This engine churns out a maximum power of 10.6 PS at 7,500 rpm and produces a peak torque of 10.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine gets matted to a CVT transmission. The dimension of the scooter is 1770 x 690 x 1140. The safety features on the Vespa Notte 125 includes 200 mm front ventilated disc brake, single side arm front suspension and hydraulic rear suspension. Besides that the new scooter comes featured with low speed balance, auto ignition, stabilising torque for accurate steering and high speed stability.

The scooter has a kerb weight of 114 kg along with a ground clearance of 155 mm. The capacity of fuel tank is 7 litres. A maximum speed of 100 km/h can be attained by this new 125 cc scooter. The Vespa Notte 125 is now available in Vespa showrooms. The Vespa Notte 125 will rival with the other 125 cc scooters like Aprilia SR 125, Honda Grazia, TVS Ntorq and Suzuki Burgman Street. This retro designed scooter with an elegant look is likely to become popular in our country.
