The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 is all set to be launched on February 15, 2019. The base variant of compact SUV has been spotted. Earlier we had seen spy shots of the car revealing its features. The Mahindra XUV300 is developed based on the Ssangyong’s Tivoli. The manufacturer hopes to bring in additional sales in the sub four meter SUV segment with the launch of the all new XUV300. The automaker will be pricing the compact SUV aggressively in the range of Rs 7 lakhs to Rs 11 lakhs to bring in good sales in the country.
Mahindra will offer the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 with a host of multiple segment first features inclusive of the sunroof and seven airbags on the top of the end variant. The recent spy images of the base variant of the Mahindra XUV300 show that the compact SUV will be equipped with a 2 – DIN audio system in the cabin and LED taillamps at the rear. Apart from it, the spy images clearly shows that the all new Mahindra XUV300 will sport power windows for all doors, one touch anti pinch feature for the driver and the instrument cluster with the MID.
The earlier spy shots of the upcoming Mahindra XUV300 also revealed a lot of features of the car. The sub four meter SUV featured dual tone combination interior finished neatly, a large touch screen infotainment system installed with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, chrome grille at the front and headlamps get LED projector lamps and LED daytime running lights. The other prominent features on the Mahindra XUV300 are dual tone Zone Auto AC, Cruise control and ESP.
The upcoming Mahindra XUV300 compact SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel powering options. The new Mahindra XUV300 is likely to get a 1.5 litre diesel engine and a newly developed 1.2 litre G80 turbocharged petrol engine. The further details of the powertrain are yet to be revealed. A six speed transmission will be paired to both the engines. The company will not introduce automatic version of transmission at the time of launch.
