UM Xtreet 250X: Lots of top-grade automotive manufacturers are trying to develop most amazing vehicles which can impress the fans and popularized all over the world. On the other hand, some Chinese automotive maker continuously replicating concepts of the top-specs two-wheeler. You might have heard about the mimicked Gulsar. The American motorcycle manufacturer, UM is still struggling to prove itself as a non-Chinese company. They use many US banners while advertising and promotions. Moreover, the company has been elaborating long term on ‘USA Originated‘ label after it was enrolled as an automotive maker in the USA in the year 2000.
You must not like the step of the company, but recently UM has uncovered the 2018 model of Xtreet 250X which is said to be a completely mimicked layout of an earlier variant of KTM Dukes. You will notice all copied features starting from the tank aspect to the length and the split seat. The has not given any cosmetic concept of their own. The frame pattern is taken over again and it has also got contrast orange color. The outline of engine guard is also identical and the upside down forks are polished in the dark golden shade. Shockingly, the tail lamp and the complete tail pattern is also repeated. According to the official site of UM, the mimicked variant is a ‘new type’ of a bike, ‘sexy’ and ‘most attractive motorcycle of its class’.
Earlier, if you remembered, the automotive firm, UM debuted the Xtreet concept at the 2014 Auto Expo in India. However, the concept was declared as ‘R’ version that is an existing model in the worldwide market. The company has revealed only a few technical specifications of the bike. They said that the bike is 35% speedy and 15% extra fuel efficiency power compared to previous Xteets, seemingly. It will be available in two different shades only on offer which is black and white including orange trimmings. Moreover, there is also another variant listed on official site which appears in the white combined neon green shade.
Here are some technical specs of the UM bike. It is powered by a 223cc engine which is capable of producing 16.4 HP power at 6600 rpm and 19.6 Nm of torque at 5100rpm. The dimension of the front and rear tires are 110/70-17 and 140/70-17, respectively. It features front and rear disc brake. The dimension of the bike is 2080 mm longer, 750 mm wider and 1120 mm taller. It includes 1370 mm of wheelbase and extends 140mm ground clearance. The seat height is 820mm whereas 11 liters of fuel capacity. The bike is not to be launched in India as the company has not declared anything regarding India launch. It will rival against Royal Enfield and Bajaj Auto.
