TVS has updated the Apache 200 with Smart Xconnect Instrument Cluster, making it the second product from TVS stable to get this technology. It gets the same functions as the Ntroq including some exclusive features for Apache 200.
The whole bike remains the same except few changes. First and foremost the main change is the instrument cluster with Smart Xconnect Technology with Bluetooth pairing option. Just like the Ntorq Smart XConnect can help you check various things on the bike itself. There is a new button on the left side unit above the indicator switch to control the features of the instrument cluster.
Exclusive to Apache 200 is the race telemetry option which records different race parameters such as top speed, average speed, g-force, max lean angles and graph of gear shift pattern with respect to rpm. Well that a lot of info and you can view it all one the TVS app.
Then the app also has a feature of navigation where you can set a destination and the directions will be displayed on the bike console. You can also enter trip mode to enter multiple destinations and stops. The console will also notify you off an incoming call or an SMS.
A low fuel alert mode will route you to the nearest petrol pump. And the last feature is Crash Alert System, in which if the system detects a fall it will send your location to emergency contacts within 3 minutes. You can cancel the alert by pressing the info button within 2 minutes.
Everything else in the bike remains the same, although the new bike also gets a gold colour chain. The price of the bike is kept at Rs 1.14 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It competes with Pulsar NS 200 and Yamaha FZ 25.
