The TVS Apache series of motorcycles were launched back in 2005 and is considered to be the fastest growing premium motorcycle brand in our country, making its presence across the world. Yesterday on October 10, 2018 TVS Motor Company has announced that the TVS Apache has made a new landmark of selling over than 3 milliion units. This premium motorcycle brand is an award winning series, consistently winning recognition over past four years [2015 – 2018] in the prestigious J.D.Power survey. Recently, the TVS Apache RTR 180 was awarded the J.D.Power Asis Pacific Awards for 2018 for being most appealing premium motorcycle.

The TVS Apache series comprises of two categories – the super sports and the naked. The offerings on the naked motorcycle category includes the Race Throttle Response, RTR series comprising of the Apache RTR 160, Apache RTR 180, RTR Apache 200 4V Race edition 2.0 and recently launched RTR 160 4V. On the other hand the TVS Apache RR 310 was the first offering of the TVS Motor Company in the Super sports category. The TVS Apache RR 310 features a powerful and expressive design along with superior performance and riding dynamics.

“Our recent product launches cater to distinct requirements of a growing set of young customers globally. The response for these products has been overwhelming,” Radhakrishnan said at a press conference for the launch of the latest bike in its racing segment, the Apache RTR 160 4V (valve). “With this launch, we want to grow …TVS Apache is fast becoming one of the most-loved brands by racing enthusiasts globally.”

The TVS Apache series is engineered on the race track, borrowing ideas from the factory racing arm of the TVS Motor Company, with a history of 36 years in motor sports. A series of experimental initiatives has been created by the TVS Apache series to connect to their customer base. The TVS Apache Owners group [AOG] was created in order to create a platform for the customers to share their enthusiasm for motorcycling and now the AOG rides have been conducted in over 33 cities with participation of more than 3000 customers. The Apache Racing Experience [ARE] is the brand’s platform which is set up to provide an exclusive first hand experience of leveraging the racing DNA in their motorcycles to the Apache owners. This is held under the guidance of National Road Champions from TVS racing. Besides that the brand set up performance shows like Apache Pro Performance [APP] with the aim to create widespread engagements and taps potential customers.
