Toyota Yaris: As you all know, Toyota introduced the over-whelming Yaris in India last week. Since the launch, Yaris is already rocking the Indian market with its attractive price. According to latest reports, the latest model has received more than 5,000 after launch. Yet, there are lots and lots of buyers who are interested in buying the newest variant. The reports state that automatic variant has got more buyers compared to top-spec. The company has already revealed the values and specs of the Yaris before introducing the vehicle. Now, the car is available in nearby Toyota showroom and has received a price tag of about INR 8.75 lakh for the standard version and goes high till INR 14.07 lakh for top-spec version.
In the Indian market, Toyota Yaris is available in four exciting versions including Yaris J, G, V, and VX. Along with other versions, the vehicle is also introduced in a CVT alternative which you can get just at INR 9.95 lakh. The prices mentioned above are ex-showroom, India. The bookings for the Yaris was commenced from the month of April, this year. After the official launch, the company started the delivery of the orders. The most shocking news is that the company sold up to 1000 units of Yaris in the launch day. So, you can imagine the increasing popularity of the model. However, the features and specs deserve such great attention.
Toyota Yaris is equipped with a 1.5-litre petrol motor which is available in two transmission option which includes 6-speed manual and a 7-speed CVT gearbox. The sedan is produced in just petrol engine option yet got a remarkable response in India. These days, the automotive giants are focusing more on the safety features and the Yaris gets many interesting kinds of stuff like seven airbags, ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Force Distribution) as standard. The company has offered six attractive shades for the all-new Yaris comes which are Wildfire Red, Phantom Brown, Grey Metallic, Super White, Pearl White and Silver Metallic.
Yaris also features front parking sensors and infotainment system which supports gesture control. According to head member of the company, “Auto-major Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has got above 5,000 bookings for the latest sedan after the official announcement”. We will be launching in most of the metros in a couple of days. Vice-President of TKM, B Padmanabha reported PTI that they have more than 5000 bookings in two months. There are also rumored reports which state that TKM can introduce hatchback variant of the Yaris in Indian market which is already in production. Toyota Yaris was also debuted at the 2018 Auto expo which competes with the popularity of Honda City, Hyundai Verna, and the Maruti Ciaz.
