The list of the top 10 selling cars of November 2018 has been revealed. The first six positions have been secured by Maruti Suzuki India Ltd while the other four positions have been taken by the Hyundai. Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has recorded a domestic sales of 1,16,793 units in the month of November, 2018, gaining 44.3 percent market share. However, Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has seen 1.8 percent increase in the sales volume compared to November, 2017. However, Hyundai Santro, which was launched a month back, surprisingly secured a postion among the top 10 selling cars of November.

The Maruti Swift, the country’s favourite hatchback has secured the first position among the top 10 cars, being the number 1 selling car in the November 2018. The second position is taken by the Maruti Dzire, which is the compact sedan version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift hatchback. The Maruti Dzire had popularized the sub four meter sedan segment in India encouraging the other auto makers to develop cars in this segment. The third position is backed by the Maruti Brezza, a premium hatchback which comes with an upmarket interior and a host of features. The Maruti Brezza is exclusively retailed through the Nexa outlets. The fourth position is obtained by the affordable spiritual successor of the legendary Maruti 800 – the Maruti Alto. The fifth and the sixth positions are obtained by the Maruti Baleno – the sub compact SUV and the Maruti WagonR – the tall body designed car offered in LXi and VXi variants.
The seventh position is obtained by the Hyundai Elite i20, which is one of most loved premium hatchbacks and features a fluidic design language. The eighth position is secured by the India’s most favourite five seater SUV namely the Hyundai Creata. The Hyundai Grand i10, the mid level hatchback positioned between the premium elite i20 and the entry level Eon in the company’s line up has taken the ninth position. The final tenth position among the top 10 selling cars of November 2018 is backed by the recently launched Hyundai Santro.
