As the year is closing in and just one month left for 2019 we take a look at the sales figure of November 2018. Our two-wheeler segment grew by 7.2% which is a great increase.

Hero MotoCorp And Ducati Join Hands To Release 300 cc Motorcycles

The hero is the market leader when it comes to selling more volume of bikes. As we can see 3 out of the 5 top selling bikes are from Hero. 36.5% share of the two-wheeler market is captured by Hero. Below is the list of the top 10 bikes sold in November 2018.

Hero Splendor remains the king of the commuter segment with its never-ending demand, together with Hero Passion, Hero Delux and the Hero Glamour. Hero clocked sales over 6,10,252 units. Hero has also crossed even the 7 lakh figure in October and November.

Bajaj Pulsar LS135 Discontinued In India, Available Only For Export

Bajaj also seems to hold its place well with 3 bikes in the top 10. As compared to last year Bajaj sales increase by around 70,000 or 31%. Bajaj also exported 1,72,112 units which are also higher than the last year.  New Pulsar seems to increase the sales of Bajaj.

The Honda CB Shine does bring out some decent sales for Honda but not much. While Honda seems to settle it down with Honda Activa which almost equals the sale of Hero Splendor.

TVS Apache RR 310 And NTORQ 125 - Launched In Nepal

TVS motors get an increase of 27% over the last year. Even with the export market, TVS reported a 24% increase. TVS Apache is holding well with its standard sales and hold on the market.

Royal Enfield Classic 350 is a regular in the top 10 list now. Sales of 39025 units of the Classic 350 itself, as the company sold a total of 65,026 units in November 2018. So more than 50% of the sales of Royal Enfield comes from the Classic 350. We will see an increase in sales when people start to get their newly launched 650 twins.
