The automobile sale in the previous month was quite diluted, thanks to the COVID19 lockdown. With some restrictions being lifted, most of the car manufacturers have resumed with partial production at their manufacturing plants and dispatches to dealerships have started. The sales have begun on a reduced scale with all the car manufacturers recording a sharp drop. We look at the top 10 best sellers from the previous month.
1. Hyundai Creta
2. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
3. Maruti Suzuki Dzire
4. Mahindra Bolero
Riding on rural demand, the Bolero managed to make it to this list. Mahindra sold a total of 1715 units of the Bolero in the previous month, with its second best seller being the XUV 300.
5. Maruti Suzuki Eeco
The same can be said for Eeco which was able to reach 1617 customers. The Eeco is already BS6 compliant and the CNG variant is also there. With ample space on offer, it currently is the best low cost people mover in the country.

8. Maruti Suzuki Alto
The entry level hatchback continues to assert its dominance. The Alto achieved sales of 1506 units, beating its rivals Kwid (684 units) and Redi-Go (164 units).
9. Tata Altroz
10. Mahindra XUV 300
The XUV 300 turned out to be the best selling compact SUV with 1257 units. It beat Venue, Vitara Brezza, Nexon and Ecosport. It is closely followed by the Venue with 1242 units. The sales of Nexon, Vitara Brezza and Ecosport stood at 623, 572 and 331 respectively.
