Tata Motors, with celebrating its first anniversary of Tiago based Compact sedan Tigor which Tata prefers calling it Styleback, has today launched the Tata Tigor Buzz limited edition. The limited edition Tigor buzz is based on Tigor XT variant. The Tigor Buzz variant is pretty similar to what we have seen with the Tiago Wizz limited edition which was launched last year.

Unique Berry – Red Grille Highlights

The limited edition Tigor has got minor design tweaks which differentiates it from the regular Tigor. The exterior get contrast glossy black painted roof, piano black ORVMs (Outside rear view mirrors) with new dual tone wheel covers with red accent along with unique berry – red grille highlights. While at the rear it has the BUZZ badging to distinguish as a limited edition Tigor. While the inside doesn’t seems to be much changed except for the piano black finish interiors along with the red accents over the air-con vents. Additionally the seats are now with more premium fabric.

Tigor has been value for money since it was launched, considering the features. The pricing has been very aggressive and thus the special edition has been priced with just a premium of approx. 12,000. The Limited Edition Tigor Buzz is priced at Rs. 5.68 lakh for the petrol and Rs 6.57 lakh for the diesel (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Striking Dual-Tone Exteriors with Contrast Black Roof

The Limited Edition Tigor Buzz remains unchanged mechanically and continues to draw power from 1.2 litre Revotron petrol motor generating 85hp and the 1.05 litre Revotorq diesel engine generating 70hp. The Tigor Buzz would get a Manual transmission.

The Tigor Sedan has filled up the gap of compact sedans for Tata motors. While Tiago Hatch is running well, the Tigor is yet to make good number of sales. Tata motors is aiming increased numbers of sales with the launch of the limited edition Tigor Buzz and push the sales with improved numbers. The Tigor has direct rival with the best-selling Dzire, Hyundai Xcent, Ford Aspire, Volkswagen Ameo and the recently launched Honda Amaze.
