The baby Tesla Model 3 is now available for orders in China. Tesla Inc has started taking orders with a deposit of 8,000 yuan ($1,153.60).
China is one of the largest markets for EV vehicles. The Chinese government is also trying to achieve the goal of having 100-percent electric vehicles by 2030. The company is leaning on this to bring the sale figures of the Model 3 up.
Tesla Inc CEO Elon Musk said in a tweet that the deliveries might begin by March or April of 2019. Also, the shares of Tesla rose 1.6 pct at $353.93 in the morning trade of November 17 after this announcement.
