As the lockdown has been extended till May 3, 2020, nationwide. Tata Motors has found a way to digitally sell cars to customers. The whole process has been made very simple with the program called ‘Click to Drive’. Let us explain to you how the platform works.
The first thing you need is to visit the Tata ‘Click to Drive’ website. There you can choose between a total of five Tata cars which include – Tiago, Altroz, Tigor, Nexon and the Harrier. After choosing the car you can choose the variant and the city along with the dealer you want to purchase the car with. There are more than 750 dealerships of Tata in India to choose from. You can also choose your preferable colour along with Petrol or diesel engine option.
After that, you will just pay the booking amount for the car. Tata will send you a confirmation through an email. Further, the dealer you choose will contact you and assign you a sales advisor. Price negotiations, finance options, old car exchanges and the best discounts ill be offered to you by the sales advisor online through emails, video chat and even Whatsapp for seamless digital experience. That is it, the process is over now you can choose to either visit the dealership to get you car or have it delivered to your home. Easy right!
Also, Tata Motors allows using their imagination which is their customization tool to add features and official accessories. Though imagination was available for Tata Nexon Harrier and Altroz before. In this ‘Click to Drive’ program, it is only available for their latest offering Tata Altroz. This program can help Tata gain some sales during this lockdown, as these are very hard times for the Auto industry which itself was recovering from a slowdown.
