Tata Harrier SUV is confirmed to debut in early next year. The bookings have been already commenced officially at a price of Rs 30,000. The company has teased the upcoming Harrier may times which shows the engine features and its off-roading capabilities. In the latest teaser, the SUV was spotted at NATRAX track where it obtained full marks for dynamics.
Recently, the prices of the SUV has been leaked online. The price of the SUV which has surfaced for the first time. According to the company’s tweet, the upcoming vehicle will be priced at Rs 16 lakh and Rs 21 lakh. The on-road cost for the standard variant is confirmed to be introduced at 16 lakh and the top-specs variant will be priced at Rs 21 lakh. Excluding the insurance or overhead charges, the price can start from Rs 14 lakh.
The on-road price of the Tata Harrier is expected to be between Rs. 16 lakhs (base model) to Rs. 21 lakhs (top-end variant), which will include registration charges, insurance, etc. (2/3)

Harrier is powered by a compelling Kryotec 2.0L, 4-cylinder engine producing 140HP of peak power which is based on Fiat, that produces 40 Nm of torque. The company will release the vehicle as a five-seater variant, although a seven-seat variant of Harrier is also expected to launch in future. The top-spec variant will draw power from a 170HP engine unit. The engine is combined with a six-speed manual or a six-speed on an option based on Hyundai’s torque converter automatic transmission.
The vehicle is developed in OMEGA (Optimal Modular Efficient Global Advanced) platform based on the popular Land Rover D8. The exterior of the SUV is inspired by the H5X concept and the spacious cabin will have some superior features like larger touchscreen infotainment system and high-level driver safety with other high-end features. It will be integrated with multi driving modes along with ESP Terrain Response modes and the Advanced Electronically Controlled Variable Geometry Turbocharger (eVGT).
For high-grade fuel efficiency, the car features Low Friction Valve Train Architecture and an Advanced EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation). Tata Motors has recently uncovered the all-new Tiago JTP and Tigor JTP which is has got an amazing response from customers.
