Tata Altroz Gets Voice BoT - Uses Google Assistant

Tata Motors officially revealed their premium hatchback Tata Altroz yesterday in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan yesterday. We explained you all the features and engine options it launched with. One of the new feature coming today from Tata’s stable for Altroz is partnership with Google Assistant. Today Tata has announced the ‘Tata Altroz Voice BoT’, interactive voice experience for the Tata Altroz.

So all you need to use the Voice BoT is Google Assistant in your phone. Then you need to say ‘Ok Google, Talk to Tata Altroz’. It will start the voice experience and you will be given information about the Altroz. You can also ask multiple question to the google assistant about the Altroz and it will explain all the features. Commenting about the voice BoT, Mr. Mayank Pareek, President – Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors said, “Users today are passing through the purchase journey entirely fueled by self-investigation. We know from our long partnership with Google that this journey is predominantly aided through online research, that too mostly on mobile devices. To cater to these evolving needs, we are delighted to launch the Tata Altroz Voice BoT, one of our many initiatives that will enhance the overall buying experience of the users. We hope that this class defining service will be appreciated and will contribute to a more convenient buying experience.”

Not only with phone, it will also work when you get yourself a Altroz and a pair your phone via Android Auto or Apple Car Play. You can even book a test drive for the Altroz, and choose dealership of your choice from the voice assistant. It comes with a 7-inch floating infotainment system paired to a 6-speaker Harman sound system and features Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Tata has also started accepting bookings for the Altroz for a token amount of Rs 21,000. When launched it will compete with Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai Elite i20, and Honda Jazz, to take the pie of premium hatchback segment.
