Previously, Tata Motors has already announced the official launch of the all-new Altroz in 2019. The all-new premium hatch will be launched following the Harrier 7-seater namely Buzzard. However, the Altroz will debut first in the Indian market. Before commencing the launch, the carmaker has partially revealed the official website of the Altroz hatchback. It announces “The More You Visit, The More It Unveils” so, the complete website will be revealed at 100,000 visits or clicks.
The website is LIVE now, but you cannot notice many details. The new move of the company has raised the exciting among its fans for the upcoming Altroz. The hatch is scheduled to be launched early July or maybe at the end of this month. The company aims at attracting small families with its new in a segment passenger car. It will also improve the overall sales of Tata cars in the Indian market.
Tata Altroz is specially built for driving on urban roads. The car was debuted at Geneva Motor Show in March this year. It has received a stylish and attractive front which is flaunted by the all-new grille and headlamps. It has a sleek side portion. The interior of the car is more feature-loaded and integrated with comfortable seats. The dash will be new as well. It is developed in a new ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) modular platform.
Altroz has been designed at IMPACT 2.0 platform and the customers can choose between both diesel and petrol engine options. The petrol unit will be a 1.2L Revotron unit which can deliver 102bhp of max power and 140Nm of peak torque. The diesel version will come with a 1.5L Revotorq engine under the hood delivering 92bhp of power with 210Nm of peak torque. The engine will be companies with a 5-speed manual and a dual-clutch automatic transmission on option.
Tata Altroz can also be introduced as a mild hybrid technology for the 1.2L petrol engine unit. Tata Motors will be introducing some amazing concepts in the near future which includes Tata Altroz EV, Tata H2X Concept, Seven-seater SUV, Tata Buzzard (Harrier 5 seater SUV), and Tata Buzzard Sport (Europe variant). It is expected to be priced between Rs 5.50 lakh-Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). Altroz will rival against the likes of Maruti Baleno, Toyota Glanza, and Hyundai Elite i20 in India.
