Tata Motors’ new advertisement finds a witty way to take a swing at the competition this father’s day. The advertisement featuring the Tata Altroz takes a friendly dig at other cars like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, and also the Toyota Glanza.
The advertisement starts with talking about the design with a reference to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Goes on to talk about the Hyundai i20 when it comes to safety. And then mocks the Toyota Glanza when it comes to road presence. The advertisement ends with a clever reference to today’s father’s day with the quote “Let daddy show how to set #goldstandard”.
The new Tata Altroz was launched in the country back in January this year. It is available in two BS6-compliant engine choices: 3-cylinder, 1.2-litre, Revotron petrol unit making 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque, and the 4-cylinder, 1.5-litre, Turbocharged Revotorq diesel unit delivering 90 PS power and 200 Nm of torque). Both the powertrains are available with 5-speed manual gearbox transmission. It also features Tata’s new Impact 2.0 Design Language platform and is based on the ALFA (Agile Light Flexible Advanced) architecture. The car is also loaded with features like LED DRLs, split-LED tail lamps, 7-inch Harmann TFT infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, rear AC vents, 348-liter boot capacity, electric tailgate, 4-way adjustable driver seat and 2-way adjustable front passenger seat.
