Kinetic Group owned MotoRoyale is expected to release an amazing adventure-tourer bike, SWM Superdual T on 11th of October. According to some reports, the bike was supposed to hit the Indian market by September but later the production was delayed. Although, the company has not announced the specific launch date. MotoRoyale is also expected to launch FB Mondial and Hyosung.
The sporty adventurer SWM Superdual has been developed in two variants including the T and X. The Superdual T has been designed especially for all town adventurers whereas the Superdual X is an extreme off-road model which will offer great performance. Both the variant are CKD (completely knocked down) units that will be shipped from China to the company’s Aurangabad factory to reduce the freight charges.
The ‘X’ top-specs variant is developed with off-roading capabilities which are equipped with larger tires compared to the base variant ‘T’. The T variant sits on wire-spoke 19-inch and 17-inch wheels, whereas the X has received front 21-inch and rear 18-inch of tires which gives it a bold look. The adventure tourer has received many interesting features like 12V charging socket, all-digital speedometer, towering windshield, handguards, LED headlight, luggage mounting rack, and engine guards.
The bike is also available in an optional GT kit, which consists of 2 Aluminium side case implemented on both sides of the rear section. The T and X variant has got a ground clearance of 180mm and 230mm, respectively. When both the bikes are compared in terms of dimension, the X variant is taller and bigger. The T and X variant is measured 30mm and 20mm, respectively. The bikes feature 18-liter fuel tank capacity.
Both the bikes are equipped with the same motor inside the hood. They are powered by a commendable 600cc, DOHC, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine which generate 53.6 bhp power and 53.5Nm of torque. The engine is combined with a six-speed gearbox highlighting a primary chain drive system. The bikes will compete against the likes of Suzuki V-Strom 650 XT and Kawasaki Versys 650. The SWM Superdual T is expected to get a price tag of above Rs 5.5 lakh, ex-showroom.
