Swift Sport Red Devil: As told in previous reports, Swift is the best-selling range of Suzuki. It has boked all the sales records of a small car and became the best selling car of this financial year. It seems that the company is in love with the Swift range as they are still continuing to release a modified variant of the range. Earlier, Suzuki released the limited-edition of Swift Sports BeeRacing in Europe and now it’s in reports with another limited edition sporty model Swift Sports Red Devil. Although the next limited edition is especially for Australia enthusiast.
2018 Suzuki Swift Sports Red Devil is a limited variant on offer so the company has produced just 100 units of the latest variant. The interested buyers of Austra can order the car in the month of July. The latest vehicle is expected to receive a price tag of around $29,156 (approximately INR 14.78 lakh in Indian Rupees). The standard variant will be available at $31,156 (approximately INR 15.81 Lakh in Indian Rupees) which will come with automatic transmission.
In terms of appearance, the Red Devil Edition looks husky and sharp from the front with an exceptional red shade exterior. There are black running decals on sides and hood. The exterior lines make it different from the standard variant. The stylish and modern look of the car will attract many young buyers who search for affordable small cars. The black lines run from the top of the new headlights and end at the front side doors. The car looks much like the standard Swift Sport from the side section. It is also equipped with front black bumper blade upfront which makes it stylish.
The company has only teased the exterior design of the car and the cabin features remain disclosed. Although, the cabin is expected to be the same similar to the latest Swift Sports model. The limited edition model is said to be based on the Swift sport which is a sportier model of the company. If the reports are true, then Red Devil Edition will be launched in an all-black cabin highlighting red dash, center console, and side armrests. The seats are comfortable and combined with red stitching which looks perfect combination.
The technical specs are expected to be identical as well. The powertrain could be a K14C 1.4-litre Boosterjet, turbocharged, four-cylinder, petrol which can generate 103 kW (140 PS) of power at 5,500 rpm and torque of 230 Nm between 2,500-3,000 rpm. The motor is combined with a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. The speed is claimed at 100 kmph at 7.39 seconds highlighting manual transmission. Rumors also suggest that the company can also bring the limited edition in India by 2019.
