Suzuki has revealed its mindblowing racetrack version, GSX-R1000R Ryuyo. Finally, the popular bike makers like Ducati and BMW get the best competitor in the liter class segment with lightweight chassis and increased power figures. The new motorcycle is a limited edition model and is a great blend of traditional as well as modern interior. The name of the latest model is based on the company’s 6.5km test track in Hamamatsu, Japan.
The Italian company has developed the Ryuyo with advanced mechanical specifications. The top-spec bike is powered by a 1,000cc inline, liquid-cooled four-cylinder engine which generates 212 bhp of max power at 12,900 rpm and 119 Nm of peak torque. The weight of the bike remains just 168 kgs (dry). The exterior of the bike including the fairing, front, and rear mudguard is mostly composed of carbon fiber which has reduced the overall weight. It is also well-built with comprehensive titanium Yoshimura R-11 exhaust set up and an EM PRO control switchboard assembly.
The all-new GSX-R1000 Ryuyo Limited Edition is equipped with the high-quality headlight and taillight assembly which looks heavier, but it’s not so. Some other sporty additions received by the extreme bike are a prominent visor and comfortable single-seat arrangement. You will notice the bold styling of the vehicle which is highlighted with the ‘Suzuki and Ryuyo’ printed on the side profile. The rider gets various riding modes, launch control, a 10-level traction control system, quick-shifter, and slipper clutch. It will offer the top-class riding experience in the range.
Moreover, the limited edition bike features adjustable GP Evo footpegs and engine crankcase covers Suzuki has developed the latest sporty bike with Showa upside down forks with Ohlins NIX 30 internals at the front and completely adjustable Ohlins TTX GP rear monoshock. The braking system is from Brembo highlighting dual 320mm discs up front and 220mm disc rear. The GSX-R1000R Ryuyo is reported to be showcased at 2018 EICMA motorcycle event to be held at Italy in November 2018. Suzuki Moto Italia is the maker of the bike which is limited to just 20 units. The bike will be available at Rs 25.62 lakh.
