Suzuki Motor is getting ready to launch the all-new Suzuki Gixxer SF 250. The upcoming Suzuki bike is scheduled to be launched on May 20, this year. The car will be placed in the 250cc series of motorcycles which have been developed locally in India. The bike is expected to come at a reasonable price as well. The fully-faired motorcycle has received a bold design which makes it attractive.
Recently, the specifications and features of the bike have been surfaced online which gives us a glimpse of the new motorcycle. The upcoming SF 250 is expected to be outfitted with an all-LED slim headlight and tail light. It gets a Gixxer SF 250 sticker in white colour highlighting Gixxer SF graphic on the top half of the side. It comes with a Gixxer SF 155 based exhaust design along with double-barrel arrangement and chrome detailing.
The bike is expected to get an all-digital console similar to the 150cc Gixxer series, but the report is not confirmed yet. It is designed with clip-on handlebars and the split-step up seating layout which makes it more appealing. It also gets mounted rear view mirror, contoured fuel tank and gold detailing. It will sit on 110/70 section tyre at the front and 150/60 section tyre at the rear. It also features rear tyre hugger on offer.
The upcoming Suzuki Gixxer SF 250 will be powered by a 249 cc single-cylinder, oil-cooled, fuel-injected, SOHC engine which will make 26 bhp of power at 9000 rpm and 22.6 Nm of max torque at 7500 rpm. The engine is combined with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike has a kerb weight of 161 kg. In terms of suspension, the bike features oil damped telescopic forks at the front and a Swingarm-type monoshock at the rear.
The upcoming Suzuki bike can be launched with dual-channel ABS as standard. In terms of dimension, the bike is 2010mm in length, 740 mm width, and 1035 mm height along with a wheelbase of 1345 mm. It will rival against the likes of Yamaha FZ25 and the Bajaj Pulsar RS 200. The pricing details are not yet revealed, but the upcoming Gixxer SF 250 is assumed to get a price tag around Rs.1.40-1.50 lakhs.
