Suzuki Gixxer 155 facelift is scheduled to be launched this year and months before its official launch, the spy shots of the bike have been surfaced online. The recent spy shots reveal many details about the upcoming Gixxer 155. It has received many interesting updates in terms of design which makes it more sportier than before. The company is also expected to launch Gixxer 250 along with Gixxer 155.

The Gixxer range is one of the most-selling bikes of the company. The upcoming bikes will be based on 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF and the Gixxer SF 250 which are already sold in the country. The naked Gixxer 155 is now outfitted with a new LED headlamp which highlights silver edging, which is much better than the existing halogen assembly. At the rear the bike gets stepped seats, body-coloured split grabs rails and new LED taillights.

Additionally, it is integrated with Gixxer SF inspired updated twin-orifice exhaust canister. The shade of the centre panel is also updated. The panel is highlighted with a silver finish for the street fighter and black for SF 155. All other design details remain similar to its fully faired model. Moreover, it also gets new split seats, updated side panels and exhaust muffler.

The features are not yet confirmed, but it can get an all-new digital instrument console. The upcoming Gixxer 150 can be powered by a 154.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled engine similar to the faired sibling that generates14.1hp of power and 14Nm of torque. It will be lighter than the fully faired range that is146kg. The engine is combined with a 5-speed transmission.

In terms of suspension, it features telescopic forks at the front and a monoshock unit at the rear. The bike will be equipped with disc brakes at both ends with single-channel ABS as standard. The Gixxer SF was introduced at an increased price which was Rs 12,000 more than previous models. In terms of price, it will rival against the likes of Yamaha FZ-FI available at Rs 95,680 and the Honda CB Hornet 160R sold at Rs 92,108.
