Suzuki Burgman Street 125: Suzuki has finally ready to launch the most-awaited scooter in India, the Burgman Street on July 19. The sharp look of the scooter has attracted all the eyes when it was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo held in February. The company has already commenced the bookings for the latest two-wheeler at all the Suzuki dealerships in India. The scooter will be produced in the Indian market soon after the official launch. The scooter was previously found when the company was shooting an advertisement in the country.
The all-new Suzuki 125cc two-wheeler is supposed to be available at a price tag of INR 65,000 – INR 70,000 which is higher compared to the existing Access 125 SE, which comes at a price for Rs 60,580 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Suzuki will be producing the brand-new Burgman with different power plant ranging from 125cc to 600cc in the global businesses. Similar to the Suzuki Intruder, the company intends the Burgman Street for sale in India.
Like other European models, Suzuki Burgman Street is developed in a maxi-scooter designing platform. It has got a competitive and sporty appearance from the front. The front fascia is the key attraction of the scooter. It is outfitted with an updated LED headlight and handlebar which is different from other previous models in India. It is also seen with a windscreen which combines a more sharper aspect in the scooter.
The rear segment of the scooter has received a fashionable and angular LED tail light. It is designed with all modern equipment to match the latest scooter trend. The frame of the vehicle is made with many grooves and folds which offers it an energetic posture. Apart from the sporty looks and design, the scooter also gets a host of premium features. It is equipped with a longer and broader comfy seat including a somewhat upside form. This has also improved the storage compartment which is spacious.
The Burgman Street features an all-digital instrument cluster which looks similar to the Gixxer. Some additional features include a multi-function key slot, roomy under-seat storage, smartphone charging point, stocky exhaust muffler comparable to the Gixxer and great space for the foot. The latest Suzuki vehicle features front telescopic forks up and a rear single shock absorber. It sits on front 12-inch alloy wheel as well as rear 10-inch alloy wheel. The scooter receives disc brake and drum assembly at front and rear, respectively.
The scooter runs of an Access 125-based 124.3cc powertrain which generates 8.6hp of power at 6,500rpm and 10.2Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. It will also feature CBS as standard just like the Access 125 as per the latest norms. It will be really exciting to see the battle between Burgman Street and Honda Grazia in the Indian market as Grazia is one of the most amazing scooters in the country. Other competitors of the upcoming scooter are Aprilia SR 125 and TVS Ntorq 125.
