Skoda Auto India has announced a heavy price cut on the entry-level variant Kodiaq Style. The time has finally come when you can grab great deals on expensive cars as the festive season is finally here. The entry-level Skoda Kodiaq variant is now available at Rs 32.99 lakhs (ex-showroom) after the attractive price cut of Rs 2.38 lakhs. However, it is a limited period offer which will last only till 30 September 2019.
You might be thinking about the reason for such a remarkable price drop. Although, the company hasn’t declared a purpose for such a move. It seems that the automotive maker aims at enhancing the overall sales of the entry-level variant this festive season. The price for the top-specs L&K variant isn’t revised which is still available at Rs 36.78 lakh. The new price will definitely attract the customers as the previous price was too high compared to the top-specs variant.
According to the Skoda dealerships, the discounted entry-level Style trim will be tagged as Corporate Edition, different from other Corporate Edition introduced by the company. Apart from Kodiaq Style, the company has also decreased the prices of Rapid and Superb. The top-spec Rapid (Style) petrol-manual gets a price cut of Rs 1.16 lakh, whereas, the mid-spec (Ambition) diesel-manual is available at Rs 1.3 lakh less.
The base (Superb) petrol-automatic Style variant has received a price tag of Rs 25.99 lakh, which is Rs 1.80 lakh lower than the introductory price. The Superb Style diesel variant is now available at Rs 28.49 lakh which is 1.8 lakh less than the original price. The amazing Skoda Kodiaq has a luxurious interior highlighting eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets features like wireless charging, USB ports, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, 10-speaker Canton sound system, and a 12-way adjustable driver seat.
Skoda Kodiaq is equipped with tons of safety features including 9 airbags, ABS and ESP, traction control, 360-degree surround parking sensors. Skoda Kodiaq is powered by a powerful a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine which is capable of generating 148bhp of max power and 348Nm of peak torque. The engine is combined with a seven-speed automatic transmission unit paired to an all-wheel-drive system. In the Indian automotive market, Skoda Kodiaq competes against the likes of Toyota Fortuner and the Ford Endeavour.
