Royal Enfield will launch a new bike soon, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 with dual channel ABS. Royal Enfield is always known for the classic retro mechanisms in its bikes. The new bikes are also expected to get two new colors – matte blue and the matte beige.
Internally the motorcycle will remain the same. It will run on a 346cc air cooled motor. It produces a maximum power of 19.8 HP at 5250 RPM and 28 Nm of peak torque at 4000 RPM. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike also gets disc brakes on both wheels for the ABS. It has a kerb weight of 192kgs, making it one of the heaviest in the segment. The update will come for the Royal Enfield Classic, Bullet and ES 350.
A TeamBHP member leaked two images of the new motorcycle. It looks like a Classic 350 in the two expected colors. Also we can see square decal in Indian flag colours of Orange, White and Green, with the number 49 printed on the fuel tank. The media invite also reads, “It gives us a great pleasure to invite you on behalf of Royal Enfield at the bike launch. Here are the details – An ode to Royal Enfields in service and those who ride them. Please join Rudratej Singh, President, Royal Enfield, as he takes you through our much-storied heritage with the Indian Armed Forces and the motorcycle it inspired.”
This may indicate the launch of a new motorcycle to pay tribute to the India Armed Forces. Classic 350 is the most sold Royal Enfield motorcycle in India. It accounts to almost 85% of the sales. It is a great move to include ABS on this model. Internationally, all RE bikes sold gets dual-channel ABS.
