Royal Enfield has officially started offering Alloy wheels on their Classic range. The 650 Twins are also up for getting a set of alloy wheels. But Royal Enfield decided to first introduce them to the Classic series.
The alloys will be made available as an optional accessory and will cost you about Rs 10,500 for both the alloys. This cost includes the installation charges as well. This comes as a lifesaver for people who go for cheap aftermarket alloys which are not tested and are not from a reputable brand. Now you can opt for official alloy wheel from the manufacturer itself.
These 9 spoke alloy wheels are the same ones offered in Thunderbird 350X and Thunderbird 500X. Though 650 Twins could new set of Alloy wheel, not these ones. Coming over to the benefit of Alloy wheels over the spoked wheels, they get tubeless tyres instead of the normal tube type ones. While spoked wheels are easier to repair and cost less.
There are no mechanical changes in motorcycles. The Classic 350 gets Single cylinder, 4-stroke, twinspark air cooled engine producing around 19.8bhp at 5250rpm and 28Nm at 4000rpm mated to a 5-speed transmission. Royal Enfield also offers ABS. Stopping power comes from a 280mm front disc and 240mm rear disc.
Royal Enfield is also planning to launch Trials 350 in India very soon. Featuring different design language with a single seat and upswept exhaust. With two more bikes, Royal Enfield will expand its portfolio to a great level. Soon, the 650 Twins will also get the alloy wheel as an option for which many customers have been demanding.
