The European brand is all set to launch the new Renault Triber on August 28th. The Triber is a showcase of the collaboration of the Renault teams in both India and France. The manufacturing of the new car is already underway at their Chennai facility. The bookings for the new Triber will commence on August 17th across the country.
The Triber’s vibrant look is reflected in its sleek and taut lines as well as in its inclined windscreen and rear window and slight roof drop. This is further accentuated by the body-fold which joins the door handles and extends onto the sculpted wing shoulders. The front-end features LED daytime running lights circled in chrome and black headlamp masks. The Renault logo is highlighted on a Triple Edge Chrome front grille which extends to the projector headlamps. The two-part rear Eagle beak tail lamps extend onto the outside of the wings and taper to point to the center of the tailgate, making the vehicle seem wider.
The all-new Renault Triber runs on a 1.0-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine. This motor produces 72ps power and also 96Nm of torque. The power is run through a 5-speed manual transmission system. The Triber is a sub-4-meter 7-seater car. But the last row seats can be removed to increase the boot space. Without the third row, the boot space is a massive 625-liters. It also gets numerous features like an eight-inch MEDIANAV infotainment system, cooled glove box, digital MID etc. The Renault Triber will compete against the Hyundai i10 and the Maruti Suzuki Swift.
