The spy pics of the Renault Kwid RBC have once again come up on the internet and this time there is a sneak peak of the interiors too. The sub four metre MPV ‘RBC’ is still seen in a camouflage as its under testing.
The images by Team-BHP shows the existence of a dual tone dashboard and touchscreen infotainment system. The cabin also features some silver lining. The chrome inserts and the three spoke steering wheel gives the interior a subtle look which is quite tasteful. This image also shows some ORVMs and side airbags, indicating it to be one of the upper variants. Split glovebox and dual tone fabric seats with fixed headrests are also noticed in the leaked images.
The RBC is going to be the second seven seater to make its way to India, next to the Lodgy. The soon to be launched MPV is based on the CMF-A+ platform of the Renault Kwid, which improves its size and wheelbase.
The news has it that the Renault RBC will run on 1.0 liter three cylinder turbocharged petrol engine alongside the 1.5 liter diesel engine which is usually the standard for the Nissan Renault products. Prices of this car is not yet known, but going by its still known features and predicted engine variants it will be unwise to expect it below the range of Rs. 7-11 lakhs ex showroom. The later half of 2019 is most probably going to witness the launch of this seven seater Kwid.
Datsun Go+, Ertiga and Marazzo are the newer member of the MPV market family, and their presence makes it difficult for other soon to be launched MPVs. But considering that the RBC is going to compete the cheaper automobiles, it is expected to do well in India. Much information about the RBC is not yet available but we hope to get it soon enough.
