Since its launch in India in 2015, Renault’s Kwid has crossed the 3 Lakh sales milestone. Along with the Duster, the Kwid is the car that helped to cement Renault among Indian car buyers. The car is available at a starting price of INR 2.72 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).

According to Renault, 98% of the Kwid’s parts are localised, which helps a great deal in keeping the prices competitive. There are two engine options(both petrol) available with the Kwid. There is a 3-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve, 0.8 litre petrol engine that makes 54 bhp and 72 Nm. Also available is a 3-cylinder, DOHC, 4-valve, 1.0 litre petrol mill that produces 67 bhp and 91 Nm.
