Renault Plans to Grow its Presence in India: New Products in Work

The popular automotive company, Renault have announced that they will expand its products in India. The company will focus on increasing its services in the country with new products and concepts. The carmaker has revealed its Groupe Renault’s global expansion plans. At present, the company has more than 6 lakh satisfied customers. They have strong roots in the country with over 370 dealerships and 450 service touchpoints which further comprises 257 service workshops and 215 Workshop-On-Wheels locations.

As a part of its new expansion plan, the carmaker will focus on customer satisfaction as well. Soon, they will introduce more dealerships so that they reach every Renault car fan easily. With new products range, it aims at attracting more customers in the small car and SUV segment. The recent services offered by the company has received a good response with the customers. The new plans are accompanied by the company’s Head-Customer Care, Bhimsen Gulabani.

He is a business administrator with 25 years of business involvement in Indian and Global markets along with broad appearance over several regions in sales and marketing, network development, customer service including after-sales services, planning; strategy, customer quality and CRM. The company already has great customer services including MY Renault India customer importance, which now assists as a benchmark for Groupe Renault, has enhanced digital experience for buyers in the automotive field.

According to Venkatraman Mamillapalle, CEO and MD, Renault India, the French carmaker Renault is working on to built the most-affordable EV in the Indian automotive market in the upcoming two years. As per recent reports, the company delivers over 75,000 units every year. It intends to increase these quantities to 150,000 units by the next two year with four new products range. The company has revealed its plans to introduce a new EV which will cost around Rs 10 lakh.

With the new emission norms to hit the Indian market soon, Renault India is also confident about its new products. The company will bring new products to the market by 2022. Talking about the Auto Expo 2020, the automaker has showcased new Triber AMT which is expected to be launched in the mid of this year. They will also introduce a new product which will be a compact SUV range, later this year.
