Range Rover And Range Rover Sport 2018 facelift launched in India

Jaguar Land Rover has now officially launched its new facelifted models in India The Range Rover and The Range Rover Sport. Both of the Range Rovers are a part of new launches planned by British Car maker for the year 2018.


The chief highlight of both these new Range Rovers is their premium looks and updated design language. This is the new deisign which adheres to the new design language. It is similar to the Velar and the Evoque Convertible. These features would contribute in raising their benchmark once again and keep the competitors heel and toe in the game.

In addition, the SUVs also get the updated Pixel-laser LED headlamps which look prominently similar to the Velar. The front fascia features a new ‘atlas mesh’ grille design which makes the car look more well-designed. The facelift gets updated taillights with added LED elements. The interior gets touch pro duo infotainment system with dual large 10-inch touchscreens. Moreover, we have also seen in the Range Rover Velar.

The top-spec Range Rover cabins are more luxurious than before. The front seats are restructured. The seats have been provided with ‘Hot-stone’ massage function for greater comfort. For the passengers, 17 connecting ports for charging and multimedia playing purpose are provided. Added features include Sun Blinds that work with owner’s hand movement, hotspot connectivity, and radar cruise control. 


Both SUVs come with range of engine options, powered by either V6 or V8, petrol and diesel motors. The diesel line-up consists of a 3.0-litre V6 turbocharged diesel engine that generates 255 bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque and a 4.4-litre turbocharged V8 diesel engine which produces 335 bhp and 740 Nm of peak torque. The two petrol powertrains provide a 3.0-litre Supercharged V6 making 335 bhp and 450 Nm of peak torque and 5.0-litre Supercharged V8 engine that produces 518 bhp and 625 Nm of peak torque.


The Range Rover of course is available in both 2.92-meter standard wheelbase as well as the 3.12-meter long wheelbase version for that extra legroom on the move. Furthermore, Both these cars will bear a price tag of Rs 1.74 crore for the flagship Range Rover and Rs 99.48 lakh for The Range Rover Sport, Prices are ex-showroom Delhi. These will be for buyers of Audi Q7, Mercedes -Benz GLS and the Lexus LX.
