Renault India has offered a new attractive shade on the Captur SUV. The company has introduced a new Radiant Red shade including a contrast black finished roof. This new colour is offered to attract more customers in this festive season. The model was launched last year, and the company has not added any major cosmetic changes on the vehicle till now, but we get a new colour option now.
Moreover, the automotive company has included the latest roof rail as a standard on three variants: RXT Petrol, RXT Diesel and Platine Diesel. In this festive season, the company has also declared some exciting offers for the buyers. You can avail a benefit of Rs 81,000 in the latest SUV variant. At present, Captur is available to buy in 7 variants with a price starting at Rs 9.99 lakh to Rs 13.25 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) for the top specs variant.
The Renault Captur is outfitted with Sparkle Full LED headlamps and bold taillights, C-shaped Sapphire LED DRLs. It comes with chrome detailing on bodyside cladding and chrome elements on the rear embellisher and exhaust. The excellent cabin features a semi-digital instrument console, multi-function steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system that support built-in navigation.
Regarding the safety features, the SUV gets dual front and side airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, Hill Start Assist, cruise control, auto climate control and more. It sits on larger 17-inch alloy wheels. The vehicle is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine which churns out 104 bhp power at 5600 rpm and peak torque of 142 Nm at 4000 rpm. It also has a 1.5-litre diesel engine option generating 108 bhp at 4000 rpm and 240 Nm of peak torque at 1750 rpm. It is combined with a 5-speed manual transmission and 6-speed manual options for the petrol and diesel variant, respectively.
Renault India has the aim to increase the sales with the introduction of the new colour variant in this festive season. It will be great to see if it succeeds to increase the sales as the vehicle has already failed to touch the top-selling mark after the launch. The Renault Captur in India competes against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the future Nissan Kicks.
