Just after the of spy images of the Audi Q2 L e-tron had flocked the internet, now the original images have been leaked. The images were clicked during the event of Audi’s three decades of celebration with its partner First Automotive Works (FAW).
It seems like the SUV is on board with a brand trying to satisfy the Chinese customer base in the immediate phase, with its products. The next strategy suggests that the Q2 L will rock the Chinese market alongside the regular e-tron in the upcoming market. What’s more amazing is that the SUV is specifically made for China, although the regular model will continue being on sale.
Coming back to the spy images and the leaked photos there are some noticeable differences in them. The front end and the grille in the prototype was remodeled but the images from the event bore significance to the regular e-tron. The concrete idea of the product will only be clear when the car starts its test driving. It will not be wrong to expect that the Q2 will run on some high capacity battery which will provide a range of kms on a single charge.
The regular e-tron will be reaching the Indian shores shortly within the coming year, whereas the electric vehicle will be only coming on 2020. The regular e-tron was revelaed sometime back in September, and it runs on two asynchronous battery and a 95 kWh battery, capable of providing a range of 402 kms. Quattro electric AWD system for optimised traction and torque distribution between wheels are installed in the e-tron, which claims to have bigger dimensions than the Q5. 30% of the driving range is generated by the brake energy recuperation system. The car boasts of its acceleration which takes a 100 kmph in 5.5 seconds apparently, touching 200 kmph.
