PSA Group has finally confirmed to enter the Indian market after many rumours. After noticing the great demand for SUV’s in the Indian automotive market, the company will finally arrive as a Citroen brand. It means that the cars developed by the PSA Group will feature the Citroen badge. For those who don’t know much about the Groupe PSA, it is a French automotive maker who sells vehicles through popular automobile brands such as Peugeot, Citroën, DS, Opel and Vauxhall.
The company is all set to re-enter the Indian market by the last month of 2021. Citroen will also commence the production of the engine locally. Earlier, the cars from Peugeot and DS were spotted testing many times in the country and finally, we get the Citroen. The current rumours also state that the car can be Citroen Aircross C5 which is available for the international market. Earlier, in the year 2017, the company has made an official declaration which claimed its contract with the CK Birla Group.
