1000 horsepower generated PFO supercar’s sketch was just released by the Automobili Pininfarina. The release of the car will be a closed event, with a group of potential buyers. Only 150 units of the car will be manufactured. The company is known for its designing skills like the recent, Alfa Romeo or the Ferrari.
“Numerous design icons from Pininfarina’s incredible history have won awards at Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, so I am excited to present a future Pininfarina classic to prospective owners in close proximity to this famous event,” said Automobili Pininfarina CEO, Michael Perschke.
“Our presence in Monterey is an inspiring chapter in the story of realising Battista Farina’s long-held dream: One day there will be beautiful cars solely branded Pininfarina,” said Automobili Pininfarina CEO Michael Perschke in a statement. “These special VIP previews mean that future PF0 owners, most of whom will undoubtedly own numerous modern and historic classics, have an opportunity right now to be part of the birth of the company and their hypercar.”
Lightweight carbon fibre sculpted PFO, whose interiors are teased, will be featuring a driver focused cabin. Nothing much important is revealed about her right now. The electric car can go upto 100 kmph ni 2 seconds, and eventually touches the top speed of 400 kmph. The car will be laujchenchef at first sight, one that strikes dead your heart and soul. These are the feelings that I have every time I look at a 500 and whenever I drive one of them. I fell in love with her when I was a child and growing up I dreamed of its rebirth. I am glad that the revamp will help many to re-experience the dream and the magic years of the economic boom and of the Italian joie de vivre. Since 2008 and over the years, I have always customized them for myself and with the opening of Garage Italia we had the chance to design a multitude of one off and unique versions that have confirmed the versatility and the high modernity of this car which is still nowadays one of the most beloved worldwide love brands. Eleven years have passed since that 4th July 2007 – the day of its rebirth – and today I wanted to celebrate and refit another splendid Italian icon designing and creating together with my Design Centre the “Spiaggina” by Garage Italia, achieved thanks to the precious technical and engineering contribution of Pininfarina and the support of Fiat” , goes the word of Silvio Pietro Angori, the CEO of Pininfarina.
