Nissan Magnite is the newest sub-4-meter compact SUV to join the Indian market and will make its way early 2021. We have already seen the car in its concept form earlier. Now the leaked Nissan Magnite Patent images show the car in what might be its production form.

The leaks come from an Instagram page and show the raw design images of the car from the patents. The Nissan Magnite patent images show all the angles and different design elements of the car. The production form will retain most of the concept design’s cues. The front headlamps and grill remain the same but the bumper gets a slight redesign around the fog lamps. It also gets more subtle diffusers both at the front and back.

The rear design of the car also remains similar to the concept with a boxier rear end to increase the boot space to the maximum. Sides also remain strikingly similar to the concept but we can expect different alloy wheel design and size. The patent images do not show a sunroof but the top-end variants will sport it seeing as the rest of the competition has one.

The Nissan Magnite will go against the likes of the newly launched Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Ford Ecosport, and also the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser. Nissan hopes the Magnite will be the turnaround car as it will be the most affordable offering and also belongs to the most in-demand category of cars.

The new Nissan Magnite will be based on the CMF-A platform derived from the likes of the Kwid and the Triber. Coming to the powerhouse of the new SUV, Nissan has revealed no information. But, we can expect it to run on similar engine options as found in the Triber. This means we can see Magnite with either the 1.0-liter 3-cylinder motor. the new 1.0 turbo petrol motor, or both.
