Now Nissan has played another card. A new base variant for the Diesel Kicks called the XE variant. Nissan is trying to offer a good spec list even for the base variant and at a lower price. Nissan refers to the XE variant as the “best value proposition”. So what all features it has to make it a considerable choice for you.
The XE variant gets over 50 features to make it a great buy while keeping the price under 10 lakhs. Surprisingly XE variant gets an Auto Ac with rear AC vents, 2 DIN STD Audio with USB & Bluetooth Connectivity, Nissan Connect (with 50+ Connected Car technology features) and Shark Fin Antenna. It also gets Speed-sensing auto door lock & Impact sensing auto door unlock, Dual Airbags, ABS + EBD + Brake Assist and Rear parking sensors.
Talking about the Nissan Connect which boosts to have 50+ smart connectivity features include speed alert, Locate My Car and Share My Car Location address and geo-fencing. Nissan is also offering 5-year free warranty package and 24×7 roadside assistance.

Not only this Nissan has also introduced new features in the other variant of the Kicks diesel. The XL variant gets bigger 17-inch wheels, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Steering mounted audio controls, roof rails, front fog lamp, ECO mode and Vehicle Dynamic Control. The XV variant gets Cruise control and hill start assist, LED projector headlamps, keyless entry, push-button start/stop, electric folding ORVMs and two tweeters added to the existing music system. And Finally, the top variant XV Pre gets new Dual tone interiors finished in black and brown, leather seats, side airbags and a 360-degree camera.
Powering the Nissan Kicks XE variant is a 1.5 K9K DCI Diesel engine making 110ps. The new XE base variant is only available with Diesel engine option. You also have 11 different colours to choose from: Pearl White, Blade Silver, Bronze Grey, Fire Red, Amber Orange, Deep Blue Pearl, Night Shade, Fire Red and Onyx Black, Bronze Grey and Amber Orange, Pearl White and Onyx Black, and Pearl White and Amber Orange.
So with all these features and value for money proposition, you can get your brand new Diesel Kicks at almost a lakh cheaper than before without compromising on features. In fact, the middle and top variant also offers more value for money. Starting from Rs 9.89 Lakhs the Nissan Kicks now makes much more sense than before, we can hope that the sales chart for the next month will also reflect the same.
