Nissan has finally launched the all-new Nissan Kicks in India at an introductory price of Rs 9.50 lakhs. It is available in two engine options 1.5-litre petrol and 1.3-litre turbo petrol (Price from Rs. 11.85 lakhs ). All prices are ex-showroom. The company might announce a price hike after a few months. The fans are still waiting for the diesel variant after the BS6 version.
The entry-level version Kicks is powered by the similar 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine which is capable of making 106 PS of max power and 142 Nm of peak torque. This engine is combined with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The new variant is Rs. 5000 more affordable than the previous BS6 version.

BS6 Kicks 1.5 XL MT: Rs 9.50 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.5 XV MT: Rs 10 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.3 Turbo XV MT: Rs 11.85 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.3 Turbo XV Premium MT: Rs 12.65 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.3 Turbo XV Premium (O) MT: Rs 13.70 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.3 Turbo XV Premium (O) MT: Rs 13.90 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.3 Turbo XV CVT: Rs 13.45 lakh
BS6 Kicks 1.3 Turbo XV Premium CVT: Rs 14.15 lakh
On the other hand, the new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine variant makes 156 PS of max power and 254 Nm of peak torque. The new engine is available in two gearbox options: 6-speed manual and CVT automatic. The 1.5-litre petrol unit claims 13.9 km/l while 1.3 turbo MT delivers 15.8 km/l. The 1.3-turbo variant is the most efficient model in the range. The new variant will attract more customers than the current version.
The carmaker offers the BS6 updated Nissan Kicks in six shades: Blade Silver, Night Shade, Bronze Grey, Fire Red, Pearl White, and Deep Blue Pearl. With the increase in demand for dual-shade variant, the company announced three additional shades for Kicks XV Premium (O) trim: Bronze Grey with Amber Orange, Fire Red with Onyx Black and Pearl White with Onyx Black.
The company offers the new version in many attractive EMI and payment option. It comes with a standard warranty of two years/50,000 km warranty and additional RSA for two years. Talking about the safety features, Kicks comes with vehicle stability management system, electronic stability control, traction control system, hill start assist and cruise control. The vehicle rival against the likes of Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
