The New Ninja ZX-10R and new ZX-10RR are launched in India as locally assembled models. The new ZX-10R is a supersport model bike which is a three times successive victor at the World Superbike Championship. They are assembled at Kawasaki India’s Pune Plant.

Our newly established R&D played a vital role in making local assembly of the new Ninja ZX-10R and new Ninja ZX-10RR successful. A decision of local assembly of these two high performing motorcycles, which are also sold in Europe, USA Japan etc., was taken more from future perspective than only from a price perspective. India Kawasaki has a vision for the Indian market and steps like these will pave the path to achieve its goals. Besides, it will also help to increase craze and enthusiasm for these two legendary performers in this country.”
Pre order of both the Ninjas have already started with a special offer which stays valid till July. Bookings are taken for a price of Rs. 3 lakhs. The ZX-10R and ZX-10RR are priced at Rs. 12.8 lakhs and Rs.16.10 lakhs respectively which is nearly Rs. 6 lakhs less than the CBU price tag.
Sport Kawasaki Traction Control, Kawasaki Launch Control, Kawasaki Braking Control, Quick Shifter, Corner Management Function and Bosch Inertial Measurement Unit will be offered with the Ninjas. The braking system is handled by 330mm Brembo semi floating discs in the front and 220 mm disc brake at the along with Kawasaki Intelligent Anti lock Brake System.
A 998cc, liquid cooled, inline, 4 cylinder engine offering 197 PS power at 13,000 rpm and 113.5 Nm torque at 11,500 rpm is installed in the ZX-10R and ZX-10RR. The maximum speed of the beauty is 299 kmph. The rivals of the bike in the Indian market are Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, Yamaha R1, Suzuki GSX1000R and BMW S1000RR.
