Hyundai is ready to launch the next generation Xcent, although we still have to wait for 2020. Hyundai has developed the Xcent specifically for the Indian market as passenger vehicles are in high demand in the country. The existing on-going variant of the sedan is a popular range of the company. The company is planning to introduce the next-gen compact sedan with more interior space. After launch, it will rival against popular sedans including Maruti Dzire, Honda Amaze, Volkswagen Ameo and Ford Aspire.
The new vehicle will be wider and broader headroom, legroom and shoulder room. The rear passenger seat will be wider which will be more comfortable. The company will focus more on the modifications of the cabin by adding high-level safety features and some other updates on the dash. The vehicle is assumed to be highly inspired by the upcoming Grand i10 which has been spotted testing on road many times.
The latest reports claim that the interior of the next-gen Hyundai Xcent can be equipped with AC vents, a new 12V socket highlighting rear USB charging ports, and also a sunroof. From the front, the upcoming sedan will be equipped with a distinct cascading grille, sleeker front headlamps and bigger fog lamps. At the rear, the car can get a redesigned tail light arrangement and a bold bumper.
The next-gen Xcent will be completely distinct from the Grand i10 in terms of designing, with a stylish and bold presence. It will be outfitted with larger rear doors and high-specs sedan elements. Similar to the upcoming Grand i10, the latest Xcent will be powered by the same engine with higher power figures although, it will be combined with a Hyundai Smart Auto AMT preferably of a torque converter assembly. Currently, Hyundai is focusing on the Grand i10 (expected launch 2019) and Santro (launch October 23, 2018).
