The 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019 has just begun and Honda is a part of it. The automotive makers have showcased some best and latest concept which will blow your mind for sure. The upcoming cars will be the new innovation which a blend of both beauty and features. The time is finally here when you will get the most impressive concepts which you can look forward to buying.
Honda has already teased the new generation version of Jazz and it’s finally unwrapped at the event. The car is somewhat redesigned with a lower height. The new-gen version seems classy with updated features. It is definitely better than the existing version of Jazz. It is revealed in a new hybrid engine which makes it a more advanced version of Jazz. It is developed to meet the new standards for a pollution-free environment.
The all-new Jazz hatchback (Fit) will be available in five variants: Basic, Home, Ness, Crosstar, and Luxe. At the front, the car has got a sleeker grille highlighting chrome elements. It is outfitted with LED headlamps along with LED daytime running lights. It has received a new body colour panel on the hood which makes a sharper design with a mid-Honda badge. The car also gets a new dashing bumper along with a larger mid airdam. From the side, it gets similar ample glass section.
The new Honda model is outfitted with dual-tone alloy wheels. At the rear, is gets all-new split-LED tail lamps compared to existing variant. It is developed with high-end smart features and services which includes Honda CONNECT onboard communication module. It has three special features: Remote control vehicle functions through smartphone, Emergency support services and Security “rush over” services.
The cabin of the car gets a new dash with a different colour option in each variant. It also comes with a new two-spoke steering wheel with coordinating dual-tone detailing and new centre console as well as comfortable seats. The new version will be equipped with bigger infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support. It will also feature climate control, cruise control, a multi-info display, keyless entry and push-button start.
In terms of safety, the car gets ABS with EBD, parking sensors with a rearview camera, electronic stability program and Honda’s SENSING as standard. It is assumed to be powered by a dual-motor hybrid powertrain although, the company hasn’t confirmed the details. It can draw power from a 1.5-litre unit combined with an electric motor. It will also get 125PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol unit, 89PS 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine and the 100PS 1.5-litre i-DTEC unit.
In India, the new Jazz is expected to debut at Auto Expo 2020. It will rival against the likes of Hyundai Elite i20, the facelifted Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota Glanza and the upcoming Tata Altroz. If showcased at the upcoming Auto Expo, the company might release the new version in the second half of next year.
