Ford Freestyle: Ford has finally rolled out its all-new Compact Utility Vehicle (CUV), Freestyle in India as well as globally. The price tag received by this amazing model is just amazing starting at just Rs 5,09,000 (petrol variant), isn’t it attractive. It will available in total four variants which are Ford Freestyle Ambiente, Ford Freestyle Trend, Ford Freestyle Titanium, and Ford Freestyle Titanium+ (top-spec). All the variants will come in both petrol and diesel option and with different price tags. The company has offered the new car in six attractive shades which are White Gold, Canyon Ridge, Moondust Silver, Oxford White, Smoke Grey and Absolute Black.
Interior And Designing
The vehicle has got a great build in terms of designing. It has received a muscular front fascia with an improved grille which is squeezed to expand a striking, extra strong appearance. It is outfitted with 3-dimensional honeycomb black grille. The headlamps too include some black parts inside the reflector system. The sculpted bumper is rebuilt to give a husky front appearance. The creases are asserted with black plastic inside-cladding including a satin silver faux skid plate. Around the fog lamps, you will notice black plastic details. The smoked headlamp and tail-lamp are also available on offer. The ground clearance is 190MM and is outfitted with broader 15-inch tires with dynamic black alloys.
Now about the interior of the latest Freestyle. The dual tone cabin has got a high-grade infotainment system, SYNC 3 along with a 6.5-inch touchscreen which has packs of features. The operators can use the display to manage the sound system and linked smartphone and also features voice assistance. It also sports SYNC 3 system which supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. For hassle-free driving, the car comes with a reverse parking camera, keyless entry, and a push start. The company offers the latest Freestyle with Ford’s guidance on Safety. It will be equipped with standard twin airbags for all the series of the variant. The top specs variate os the model will come with an extra level safety feature. So, the buyers who prefer safety more can get this variant with total six airbags which are available only on offer on top-spec, Titanium+ trim. The unusual Freestyle grille mesh comes with three-dimensional which makes it more husky and safe.
The petrol variant of the Ford car will be powered by a three-cylinder 1.2L TiVCT petrol engine which is little, powerful and produces great fuel efficiency and performance. The naturally aspirated engine is capable of producing 96 PS of max power and 120 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5L TDCi diesel engine is also available on offer which produces 100 PS max power and 215 Nm of peak torque. The petrol, as well as diesel engines, are combined with a latest five-speed manual transmission which provides great performance.
The latest manual transmission is 15 percent lighter than other models and enhances fuel efficiency whereas decreasing NVH. It will come with advanced active gear shifts and features intelligent technology, Active Rollover Prevention (ARP). It operates with Electronic Stability Control and enhances the braking system.
