New 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 to get more power and self-healing paint

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 will be getting a ton of major updates. The new model which will debut next year will include a new intake system, ECU, tires, brakes and more. The elephant in the room is the power figure – an increase of 31hp! The bike will also get a new technology ‘self-healing’ paint.

The current generation Kawasaki Ninja H2 runs on a 998cc engine and produces 197bhp maximum power. The updated model on the hand will produce a whopping 231bhp. This will make it the most powerful production motorcycle (outdoing the 214hp Ducati Panigale V4 significantly). Torque is up by 8.2Nm, taking it up to 141.7Nm. The key components to the increase in power include a new air filter, intake chamber, and spark plugs.

The new ‘self-healing’ paint technology is also a very important update. This paint will heal itself from scratches and marks when the temperature is raised to the required amount. The 2019 H2 will come equipped with new Bridgestone-branded tires and Brembo’s top-of-the-line Stylema calipers. These were first seen on the Ducati Panigale V4.

The Digital console will have a TFT screen and Bluetooth connectivity. ‘Rideology’ mobile application pairs up to track details like –  GPS, ride time, ride speed, engine temperature, top speed, service interval, etc.

The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 is available in Mirror Coated Spark Black. The new Kawasaki H2 carbon in Mirror Coated Matte Spark Black / Golden Blazed Green. The price is not revealed yet but we can expect a hike over the INR 33 lakh for the current model.
