Kinetic group has launched seven new superbikes in India. Among these is the new naked offering from MV – the MV Agusta Brutale 800RR. It will join the F3 and the F4 in the Indian market. This performance naked motorcycle costs INR 18.99 lakh.
The MV Agusta Brutale 800RR runs on a 798cc, liquid-cooled, three-cylinder. This motor churns out 140hp at 12,300rpm and 87Nm of torque at 10,100rpm. This is paired with a 6-speed transmission assisted by a slipper clutch. Being the RR variant, it is more powerful than the standard Brutale which makes 109hp and 83Nm torque. It has a top speed of around 244kmph.
The motorcycle also gets a bunch of electronic rider aids. This includes ride-by-wire throttle, eight-level adjustable traction control, and hydraulic slipper clutch. It gets adjustable ABS as standard with rear wheel lift up mitigation. Also on offer are Brembo brakes and a slipper clutch. The rider can switch between four riding modes – normal, rain, sport and custom to suit the road conditions for best performance.
This motorcycle uses a 43mm fully-adjustable, Marzocchi USD fork up front, and Sachs mono-shock on the rear. Stopping power is plenty thanks to the twin 320mm floating Brembo brakes at the front and 220mm ones at the rear.
The Brutale 800RR weighs just 175kg (dry). This accounts for incredible power to ratio figures. It is a whopping 800hp per ton. This makes the Brutale 800RR one of the fastest naked motorcycle on the road.
