Moto Guzzi has recently unwrapped the production ready variant of V85 TT which was earlier debuted at EICMA, last year. If you are a fan of Moto Guzzi V85 concept bike, then you will be glad to know that the popular Italian bike maker has finally declared that the concept will begin to be produced from 2019. In the Milan motorcycle show, the classical concept of the bike was well-appreciated. The slim and lighter chassis make the bike different from others in the range. The company has made the bike attractive by combining black, red and yellow shades on the exterior.
The tubular steel framework has received red detailings whereas, the body is noticed in the yellow and white shade. The bike is designed in a complete retro scheme highlighting a sharp front, round shaped dual-pod headlights and a traditional fuel tank. The vehicle is upgraded with advance electronic elements including a full-color digital TFT display. The riders also get different ride modes and cruise regulate options which improves the riding experience. It is also integrated with Bluetooth multimedia connect feature.
Regarding the brand-new bike, Moto Guzzi said, “It is the motorcycle that was needed by an ever more standardised marketplace committed to travelling in its purest variety, recalling the epic rally raids of the 1980s, a stage of reference from which it inherits model, charm and thus emotion, but which has been developed to get on the two every day routes and extensive-distance routes, using the most up-to-day specifications.”
The TT which is added in V85 stands for “Tutto Terreno” that means “All Terrain”. The modifications in the new production model included a shorter windscreen, a vertically lined color pattern in the center, a high-end rear shock absorber, exhaust and hand guards. The right arm is placed so that it secures the shaft drive transmission. The all-new V85 TT model features traction control, ABS and LED lighting. The new Moto Guzzi draws power from the similar 850cc twin-cylinder 90 degrees, a transverse air-cooled engine handled by a shaft. The engine is capable of generating 80hp of power.
The adventure bike sits on a front 19-inch wheel and a rear 17-inch wheel. Although the company has not declared the full features of the new model. Moto Guzzi France MD, Valentina Barletta said that V85 will be showcased at EICMA 2018 and will hit the market by January 2019. The Moto Guzzi V85 TT is rumored to reach the United Kingdom showrooms in February with a price tag of more than £11,000 (Approx Rs 10.47 lakh in India).
