Mini is launching a new special edition of the Countryman in the country. The new Mini Countryman Black Edition brings new cosmetic upgrades and is also limited to just 24 units. The special edition variant starts at Rs 42.40 lakh.
The new Mini Countryman Black Edition gets new cosmetic updates on both exterior and interior. This includes an all-black front grille, piano black headlight and tail-light rim, Carbon fiber JCW mirror caps and more. The rear ‘Countryman’ badging is also a new addition along with black roof rails and black bonnet stripes.
We can also see the new Countryman Black Edition with 18-inch JCW alloy wheels, Automatic Tailgate with a Comfort Access System, John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit, Panorama Glass Roof, and also a Rear View Camera. On the interior, we can see a JCW Steering Wheel, JCW Door Entry Strips and Stainless Steel Pedal covers, Head-Up Display, Sport Seats for Driver and Front Passenger in Leather Cross Punch Carbon Black. It also gets Electric Seat Adjustment with Memory Function and a Harman Kardon HiFi speaker system.
The new Mini Countryman, however, includes no mechanical changes. The special edition car also runs on the same 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine. It produces 192 BHP and 280 Nm of torque. The power transmission is through an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The engine is capable of pushing the car from 0 to 100kmph in a respectable 7.5 seconds.
